Eight-Way Favor Box

Eight-Way Favor Box

Do you need fast and easy favor ideas? Here is one white favor box decorated eight different ways. Fill with candy or place a small gift inside. Coordinate with your theme or bridal colors by adding ribbon, flowers or decorative accents. The ideas are endless for this versatile little favor box.

Rose Favor Box
Style 1. Rose Favor Box

Fill the favor box first. Take satin ribbon and wrap it once around the box and secure with hot glue at the top. Wrap another piece of satin ribbon once around the box covering the blank sides. Secure at the top with hot glue. Repeat the process with chiffon ribbon. Next, remove the stem from the silk flower. Hot glue the flower to the top of the box.

Double Ring Favor Box
Style 2. Double Ring Favor Box

Fill the favor box and close the lid. Cut a 35" long piece of thin satin ribbon and lay its center across the top of the favor box. Wrap the ribbon around the favor box, cross the ribbon underneath, and tie it in a bow at the top of the box. With the extra ribbon, tie another bow directly on top of the first. Add two faux favor rings to the center by slipping the ribbon through the gap in each ring. Trim the ribbon ends as needed.

Ribbon & Rose Favor Box
Style 3. Ribbon & Rose Favor Box

Fill the favor box and close the lid. Cut a 32" long piece of chiffon ribbon and lay its center across the top of the favor box. Wrap the ribbon around the favor box, cross the ribbon underneath, and tie in a bow at the top of the box. Using hot glue, add a ribbon rose to the center of the bow. Trim the ribbon ends as needed.

Ribbon-Seal Favor Box
Style 4. Ribbon-Seal Favor Box

Place items in the favor box and close the lid. Use #9 wide satin ribbon and wrap it around the favor box one time. Secure at the bottom with hot glue and add a metallic seal to cover the seam. Turn the box right-side-up and add another metallic seal to the top. Classic!

Winter Delight Favor Box
Style 5. Winter Delight Favor Box

This favor works great for winter themes. Punch a small hole in the top center of the box lid using a pen. Fill the favor box with white or silver candy or trinkets and close the lid. Tie a beautiful 26" piece of white satin ribbon around the box making a bow at the top. Trim the ribbon ends as needed.

Next, choose two rhinestone sprays and twist the ends of the wires together, then around themselves to make a 1" stem. Be sure there are no wires sticking out. Place the stem through the hole in the box lid and position the sprays as desired. Add a drop of hot glue to the hole if needed and position the ribbon over the hole while bending the sprays over the bow's center. The ribbon should hide the hole when finished.

Ranunculus & Ribbon Favor Box
Style 6. Ranunculus & Ribbon Favor Box

Fill the favor box and close the lid. Cut 30" of wide chiffon ribbon (#9) and tie it in a bow around the favor box. Trim the ribbon ends as needed with scissors on an angle. Remove the stem from the Ranunculus flower and hot glue the flower to the center of the bow. Simple and easy.

Tulle-Hydrangea Favor Box
Style 7. Tulle-Hydrangea Favor Box

Begin by folding the lid into the box and then the side flaps. Fill the box completely with candy or a combination of paper filler and candy to stretch your dollar. Use one large tulle circle (15" diameter), and place the box in the middle of it. Wrap the tulle circle up and around the box and tie an 18" piece of thin satin ribbon around it in a tight bow. Trim the ribbon ends as needed with scissors.

Next, remove the wires from the silk leaves by gently pulling on a leaf in the direction of the wire. Hot glue the base tip of each leaf to the center of the ribbon bow in the position shown in the photograph. Remove a Hydrangea flower from its stem and hot glue it to the leaves. Add a faux pearl to the center of the flower with a single drop of hot glue. Great for a garden themed wedding.

Shimmering Favor Box
Style 8. Shimmering Favor Box

For this favor, fill the box with candy and wrap it like a present in silver foil paper. Use a drop of hot glue to secure paper folds instead of tape. Next, tie a 26" piece of #9 satin ribbon around the box, making a bow at the top. Trim the ribbon ends as needed. Using a needle and thread (or fishing line) sew an acrylic heart to the center of the bow. Use hot glue for other embellishments as desired. This favor idea is great for winter themed weddings, but can be easily customized to any color scheme and any time of year.
