Here's an elegant pew decoration that does double duty as a wedding party gift! Fill a frame with a wedding related word, poem or saying.

You can also tell the story of your lives with scanned photos of the two of you. Start with your baby pictures at the back of the church and end with current pictures at the front.

    Materials and Tools:

Frame Selection & Contents
Step 1. Frame Selection & Contents

Choose either a 4" x 6", or 5" x 7" frame with open edges as shown. This will allow you to securely tie the ribbon to the frame's edge. We used a 5"x7" frame for this project.

Next, hand-draw or use a computer to create and print a wedding word, saying, poem, or photo that fits the size of your frame. Click for a list of wedding related words.

Tie On the Ribbon
Step 2. Tie On the Ribbon

Cut a 40-inch piece of satin ribbon and tie it to the upper corners of the frame leaving approximately 10 inches of ribbon hanging on each side. Trim the ends of the ribbon at an angle.

Add the Flowers
Step 3. Add the Flowers

Choose flowers that match your color scheme or reflect the flowers you are using in your wedding bouquet. Remove the flower heads and leaves from the stems and hot glue them to the upper corners of the frame.
