Ring Unity Candle
The unity candle ceremony represents the union of the bride and groom's families. The bride and groom light the individual tapers and bring the two flames together to light the larger column.
Unity candles are easy to create and can be coordinated with your bridal colors. In this design, we used soft satin ribbon and faux gold aluminum rings for added detail. You can substitute flowers or beads for the rings if you prefer.

- 12" Taper Candles - White or Ivory (2 )

- Hot Glue Gun

Cut a 50" length of satin ribbon and tie it in a bow around the candle approximately 3- 4" from the top. Once the bow is secure, cut the ends of the bow on an angle. Ensure that the ends are of equal length. Add the two gold rings to the center of the bow by gently separating the ring gap and placing it around the ribbon. Turn the rings so that the space is concealed behind the knot.
Cut a 3" piece of the satin ribbon and wrap it around one of the taper candles 2.5" from the top. Use hot glue to hold the ribbon in place. Repeat with the second candle.
